James Reischling

James Reischling has been a lifelong resident of the Seattle area. After graduating from Washington State  University he went into the construction industry and became a general contractor building several custom  homes and in addition began in the mortgage industry around the same time. He moved to  Alaska for a few  years and continued to work as a general contractor where he met his wife Shae. Together they moved back to Seattle and Jim picked up where he left off with Normandy Mortgage as a loan originator and has remained there since 2000. He has over 12 years experience in the mortgage industry and works with his sister Katy who together specialize in residential financing for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and reverse mortgages. Jim  became part owner of the company and the broker of Normandy Mortgage in 2006. As a team, Katy and Jim have excelled in this industry by their  communication and excellence in service to their clients and strive to help them find the program that best fits their needs whether its government,  conventional, or reverse mortgages. Jim is also a member of the Washington Association of Mortgage Professionals (WAMP) and also the Nation Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). In this constantly changing industry you need someone who understands the new laws and regulations that affect us all and how they will apply to you, their  clients. Jim enjoys spending his free time with his wife Shae and their six year old son Dylan. His hobbies are fly fishing and woodworking if there is any time  left at the end of the day!
