A Mission in Our Community
By volunteering our time and resources through the Absolute Mortgage Community Cares program, we strive to ensure a better quality of life and a long-lasting positive impact in our community.
The Community Cares committee determines causes that the company supports. A few of the causes we’ve supported over the years:
Supporting Devin
At 15-months, Devin Becerril needed a heart transplant. We were moved by this great need and took immediate action. We are proud to say that with our help, Devin was placed on the transplant list, moved to the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford University Medical and received a new heart. Even to the doctors’ amazement, he has done a remarkable job recovering from such invasive surgery. Devin is now a smiling, vibrant two-year old and comes by to see us regularly.
Food & Gift Drive
Thanks to your support, Absolute was able to contribute to the huge success of The Caring Community of North Portland’s Food and Toy Drive in both 2005 and 2006. Your donations helped feed more than 280 families annually. In addition, Absolute sent 18 employees to assist in setting up a donation ‘Toy Store’ for parents to pick out their children’s Christmas gifts from the donated goods. We will continue to work closely with the CCNP and Multnomah County Touchtone Program.
Racing for the Cure
Absolute Mortgage and its employees, friends and family raised money to support breast cancer research by running in the 2006 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Oregon.
